About Taurus® 2 C WinTech
The TAURUS® 1-4 C WinTech range combines proven pneumatic-hydraulic riveting performance with integrated setting-process monitoring. Each rivet installation is analysed in real time using traction force and movement data, with results displayed instantly through a green or red LED and an optional acoustic signal.
More than 260,000 setting results can be stored for quality control, traceability and troubleshooting. The system can also recognise recurring failure patterns and analyse complete workpieces. TAURUS C WinTech tools can operate independently or integrate into a customer’s production system through the GESIPA® Interface 4.0.
Technical FAQs
How does the TAURUS® C WinTech monitor each rivet installation?
The tool analyses traction force and movement in real time while the rivet is being set. Each setting process is evaluated in less than one microsecond.
How are the setting results displayed and recorded?
A green or red LED on the tool immediately indicates whether the setting result is acceptable. An optional acoustic signal is also available, and the tool can store more than 260,000 setting-process records for later review.
Can the TAURUS® C WinTech connect to a production system?
Yes. The tool can operate independently or be integrated into a customer’s production system through the GESIPA® Interface 4.0, supporting quality control, traceability and troubleshooting.
Can the system analyse more than one rivet setting at a time?
Yes. In addition to evaluating each individual rivet installation, the system can perform a collective analysis of all setting processes completed on an entire workpiece.
Can the TAURUS® C WinTech identify recurring setting faults?
Yes. The system recognises and stores failure patterns, helping operators investigate recurring issues, diagnose faults and improve process reliability.
