Flexibility

As a further development of the tried-and-tested FireFox® 2, the FireRex® is capable of setting blind rivet nuts at any conceivable angle in industrial manufacturing processes. The external pressure booster makes the FireRex® particularly suitable for use in tight spaces. The FireRex®'s special processing head is ideally suited for integration into manufacturing systems, linear guides and industrial robots, facilitating flexible and ergonomic working procedures in applications with restricted access.

Available with setting process monitoring

In the production of critical components, the FireRex® 2 C WinTech can facilitate monitoring and documentation of the process results. The basis for monitoring the WinTech setting process is the tried-and-tested TAURUS® C. The setting process is evaluated with the aid of position and force sensors as well as integrated electronic circuitry. Up to three evaluation windows can be configured with special set-up software. A coloured LED on the tool shows the result of setting process monitoring. With a data line, the values can also be recorded and further processed.

The FireRex® riveting gun is extremely lightweight and perfectly designed for processing blind rivet nuts in hard-to-reach places. The FireRex® is ideally suited for installation in assembly benches, fixtures or semi-automated workstations. The setting tool can be equipped with almost all FireFox® 2 accessories, including extension units, a blind rivet nut counter or the setting process monitoring system.
